G.C. Anuruddha (CM) won the Championships yesterday, at the 5thEthugalpura International Rated Chess Championship held at the Hotel Blue Sky, Kurunegala, Sri Lanka. Anuruddha scored total of 8.5 points out of nine games. M A A H Rathnayake 2nd place with 8 points and M A N Danushka 3rd placed with 7.5 points. Manisha Suchini Gunaratne (WFM) won the Women’s Championships with 6 ½ points.
