Russian
Ambassador Challenge Trophy Team Chess Championship is now open for
any age group chess players in island wide. Earlier this was open only
for the players over 18 due to the youth chess events in several provinces
in the same weekends which is organized by CFSL. But now the youth events
were postponed and we open the above team event for any chess players
to play as 4 players and a reserve per a team. Those who wish to play
could contact Mrs. Suneetha Wijesuriya, President, Anatoly Karpov Chess
Club on mobile No. 0712 726210. The tournament will start on 11th Friday,
February 2011 at 3.00pm at Isipathana College, Colombo.

wish to inform you that the Anatoly Karpov Chess Club of the Russian
Centre is conducting the above chess tournament as a team event (All
Island) in February, 11th, 12th & 13th at Isipathana College, Colombo

The
tournament is an OPEN TEAM EVENT for all the over 18 chess players in
island wide. (Men or women) Age category over 18 is 1992 born or before.
Teams consist of 4 players and a reserve can be participated in the
above event. Chess players in Schools, Universities, Chess Clubs, Institutions
or companies can send one or more teams. We will take 100 registered
teams as first come first serve basic. For registration information
