This is to inform that the National Youth Chess Championship 2017/18 will be held on 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th of December at DS Senanayake College, Colombo 07. There will be 12 events in the age categories of under 7, 9, 11,13,15 and 17 years as Girls and Boys.

Those who are selected from the selection events held at district level and the Qualified players under rating categories are allowed to participate in the event.

The closing date for registration is 15th of December 2017 and you are given a possibility at the Kolonnawa Chess Classic, Narahenpita on 11th and 12th and Ethugalpura International event in Kurunegala on 14th and 15th of December 2017. You may handover the entries to our regional officers also before the deadline. The late entries will suffer, losing the 1st round of the event.
