Western Province Team Chess Championship conducted by Kolonnawa Chess Academy
The above Annual Team Chess Championship which is organized by Kolonnawa Chess Academy is scheduled to be conducted at Borella Kannangara Vidyalaya, Colombo 08, on 01st, 2nd and 3rd October to commemorate their 8th Anniversary.
*Age groups are as under 8/10/12/14 and 16. There should be 5 players per team and any number of teams can be participated as Girls and Boys. Age will be calculated to 31st December 2010.
*Teams can be registered at Isipathana College, Colombo 05 on 24th, 25th and 26th of September 2010.
*Entry fees Rs : 300/= from each player will be charged.
*The following Championship Trophies will be awarded to the winning teams of each category. 1st, 2nd and 3rd Team Players will receive Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals. Medals for Board Prizes and all will receive certificates.

Players Can be participate as school teams only.

Under 12 Boys – Ranjan Wijesinghe memorial Trophy
Under 12 Girls - Anoja seneviratne memorial Trophy

Under 14 Boys – S. Nagarathnam memorial Trophy
Under 14 Girls - M.R. Piyadasa memorial Trophy

Under 16 Boys – Ranapala Bodinagoda memorial Trophy
Under 16 Girls - M.D.F. Jayasuriya memorial Trophy
