Junior Chess Championships 2021 – to be held in Sri Lanka |
| The Asian Junior
Chess Championship which was conducted by the Asian Chess Federation will
be organized by the Chess Federation of Sri Lanka from 17th to 23rd December
2021 at Citrus Hotel, Waskaduwa, Sri Lanka. The event is for the age group
of under 20 years of age and will be held according to the Swiss System
in 9 rounds. This is the most prestigious Chess event for under 20 years
players in Asia. |
| Eight countries,
India, Iran, Maldives, UAE, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Pakistan
have registered for the event even with this Current difficult situation.
Sri Lanka has field a team of 25 players in both Men and Girls events
under the leadership of Ranindu Dilshan. |
| Games will be conducted
physical all days and live games will be available in the CFSL Website.
