Harshana Thilakarathne wins Gold in the World School Chess Championship 2014

G.M.H. Thilakarathne of Maliyadewa College, Kurunegala won the First place in the World Schools Chess Championship of under 11 Open. Young Thilakerathne is unbeaten in his category and it is a great achievement due to the participants of 75 players among 16 countries. WCM Pallie Esha Mishela of St. Pauls Girls School won the third place in under 7 Girls.
