Thanks to Dr. Sisira Amarasinghe

Mrs. Suneetha Wijesuriya, Chess Olympiad Gold Medalist meets Dr. Sisira Amarasinghe, FIDE Arbiter and International Organizer who is residing in the United States at his recently visits Sri Lanka.

At this meeting Mrs. Suneetha offered her gratitude to Dr. Amarasinghe who is also a former chess player for reminding of the new rule to get the Fide Master Title. Dr. Amarasinghe has always looked after Sri Lankan players interests and has interviewed in obtaining similar Titles to other players through his knowledge of the new rules and regulations of the game of Chess.

Suneetha thanked him on behalf of all the chess players for this magnificent gesture. During their meeting, she briefed him about the island wide chess promotional work she conducted including chess coaching camps, tournaments and other promotional work within the last twenty years period after wining the Olympiad Gold Medal and was impressed by Dr. Sisira Amarasinghe.
