Sir
John Kothalawala Maha Vidyalaya, Piliyandala invited Chess Olympiad Gold
Medalist, Mrs. Suneetha Wijesuriya, President of the Anatoly Karpov Chess
Club of the Russian Centre in Colombo and the Chairperson of Lanka Chess
Foundation to conduct the 2nd Chess Coaching Camp organized by the School
Chess Club. |
| As a result of that Mrs.
Wijesuriya conducted the above mentioned chess camp very successfully on
Tuesday, 28th May 2013, and there were about 300 students were participated.
Mrs.Ramyalatha Weerkkody, Principal of Srimath John Kothalawala Vidyalaya,
Piliyandala, Mr. Dileepa Priyantha Perera, Teacher in-charge of Chess and
few other teachers were also there at the event. |
| First chess coaching camp
was also conducted by Mrs. Suneetha Wijesuriya in year 2009 at their school
