Mr. Manuel Aaron, the 1st IM in India and the nine times All India National Chess Champion, visited Sri Lanka and Mrs. Suneetha Wijesuriya, the Chairperson of Lanka Chess Foundation and the President of the Anatoly Karpov Chess Club who is the only Chess Olympiad Gold Medalist in Sri Lanka warmly welcomed at Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake.

Mrs. Wijesuriya is arranging chess programs here like chess coaching programs, Advanced chess lessons, Seminars and few simultaneous programs in between 12th to 24th September 2008, at Russian Center, Public Library Auditorium and Lions Activity Centre Auditorium.

Mr. Manuel Aaron has already started the first lesson today at the Colombo public library Auditorium on the opening stage. Chess players from various parts participated in this camp.
