Colombo Training Trainers programme was a great success
with a participation of 16 coaches. from all around the country. The
course, which was organized by the Chess Federation of Sri Lanka with
the support of the Asian Chess Federation was held at University of
Moratuwa from 6th to 8th December over 20 hours. This is the first time
in the Sri Lankan History that a course of this nature was held.The
Federataion is planning to continue this programme with all coaches
registered with further warkshops. The Federation is willing to give
them a seminar on rules and regulations with the Chief arbiter of Asian
Schools in next week. the Kandy programme is to be started at Coorperative
Development Institute tommorrow.
