FIDE Arbiters Seminar in Sri Lanka
The
Seminar will be held on 3rd to 6th December 2010 at the University of
Moratuwa. The lectures will be held from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 a.m. Daily.
The participation of the total seminar is compulsory in attending the
examination.
A participation
fee of Rs. 500/= will be charged from the Arbiters who have arbiter in
Sri Lanka National A, B or Sri Lanka Open Championships or any of the
Asian events conducted in Sri Lanka. All others have to pay a participation
fee of Rs. 1,000/=. The FIDE examination fee for all participants will
be borne by the CFSL.
(However, all those
who are willing to attend the examinations only can sit for the examination
by paying the total examination fee of 3,500/=) The participants will
be provided with relevant course materials and all those who need the
accommodation should inform the CFSL accordingly.
The lecturer will be IA, Custo Abundo, the Vice President of the Asian Chess Federation assisted by IA, Luxman Wijesuriya, member of Arbiters Commission and President, zone 3.2 of FIDE.
