Sri Lanka Teams for Chess Olympiad TromsØ, Norway 2014
The 41st Chess Olympiad will take place in TromsØ, Norway from August 1to August 14, 2014.
Sri Lankan Men's Team Consisting with Isuru Alahakoon, R.S. Kalugampitiya, W.C.Chamika Perera, Prasanna Kurukulasuriya and G.C. Anuruddha.
Women's Team Consisting with Dasuni Hansika Mendis, Y. Methmali, W.A. Tiumi Yashora, S.A.K. Chandrasiri and Supeshala Thilakawardana.
Chess Federation of Sri Lanka organized a training session for the Sri Lanka National teams which are going to participate for the 41st Chess Olympiad from 01st August to August 15th at TromsØ, Norway. This programme mainly focused for these 10 players to enhance their strength in Chess for upcoming events.

Coaching camp conducted by the World Top trainer, Efstratios Grivas from Greece. He is a FIDE Senior Trainer since 2004. He is Greek Grand Master with ELO rating 2482. He is an Author, Administrator and Organizer too. Mr. Grivas is of the best trainer in the Chess arena.This programme was held for 10 days from 07th to 16th July at SLIDA and NICD, Polgolla.World Chess Federation supported for this programme and we trust this will aspire our players for perform well in future.
