Mr. Upali Gunasekera Elected CFSL President Again

Mr. Upali Gunasekara, the Principal of Royal College elected as the President of the Chess Federation unanimously at the Annual General Meeting of the Chess Federation of Sri Lanka held on 30th March 2012 at the Royal College Union Auditorium at 4.00 p.m. Mr. Gunasekara who was the Vice President in 1999 & 2000 elected as the president last year and a great supporter for Chess.

Mr. Luxman Wijesuriya elected as the Hony. Secretary of the Chess Federation of Sri Lanka unanimously while Mr. Erosh Jayasinghe was elected as the Hony. Treasurer in the same manner. It was happy to note that all the following office bearers elected uncontested at the AGM:
