A very successful chess coaching camp conducted by Mrs. Suneetha Wijesuriya, Chess Olympiad Gold Medalist and the President of the Anatoly Karpov Chess Club & the Lanka Chess Foundation at Makuluduwa Junior School, Piliyandala on 6th March 2009.
Mr. Mahesh Bulathsinhala, teacher incharge of Chess under the guidance of Mr. U.R.S. Yasathilaka De Silva, Principal of the school arranged the program. There were about 150 students and few teachers participated for this chess camp.
