Directors of Yoshida Shokanji International School (YSIS) were impressed the Chess Workshop conducted by Chess Olympiad Gold Medalist Mrs. Suneetha Wijesuriya

Yoshida Shokanji International School (YSIS) has organized a Workshop to enrich the skills of the indoor game “CHESS” of their students and it was conducted by First Sri Lankan Women Fide Master, First Women’s International Rated Player and the Chess Olympiad Gold Medalist, Mrs. Suneetha Wijesuriya, who is the President and the Chief Instructress of the Anatoly Karpov Chess Club of the Russian Centre in Colombo.

Mrs. Ambapali Sikurajapathy, Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Hemakumara Gunasekera and Mr.Prasanna Dharmarathna, Directors and Mr. W. Hemantha, Prefect of Games of YSIS were also participated at the opening ceremony. There were about 50 students attended and all were really happy about this fruitful event.
