A very successful chess coaching camp was organized by Hindu Ladies College (Saiva Mangaiyar Vidyalayam), Colombo recently under the guidance of Mrs. S. Sivanesan, Principal of the College. There were about one hundred students participated. Chess Olympiad Gold Medalist, 10 times Women’s National Chess Champion, Mrs. Suneetha Wijesuriya, who is the President of the Anatoly Karpov Chess Club and Lanka Chess Foundation, conducted the above chess workshop. At the opening ceremony Mrs. S. Sivanesan, Principal played an exhibition game with Mrs. Suneetha Wijesuriya and students were really happy about the event.
