| Sri Lanka Inter Club Super League Chess Championship 2019 |

| This is to inform you all that the Sri Lanka Inter Club Super League Chess Championship 2019 will be held from 7th to 11th December 2019 at Nugegoda as scheduled. All Clubs are requested to submit the pools of 10 players of the club to the undersigned before 23rd of November 2019 by Email. If the pools are not informed by the deadline, it is considered that the team will not participate this year and the next possible team is given the opportunity. |

| The final team should
be selected among this 10 member pool and at least four members played
for Super league representing the respective Club should be included in
the final team. For the Clubs selected from the Inter Club B 2018, at
least four players played in last year should be included in the finals
team. As and encouragement to bring foreign players, a foreign player
will be allowed to replace with one of these 4 slots. |

| This is a Nine Round
Round Robin Tournament among the selected Chess Clubs and the pools of
the selected Chess Clubs will be informed to the respective Clubs earlier.
Only 8 players from the given pool can be included in the Team. Maximum
of 2 foreign players can be included in this most prestigious Chess event
in Sri Lanka. |

| As per the regulations those who placed in the 9th and 10th places will be going out of the Super League 2019 and the Winner and the Runner up in the Inter Club B 2019 will be selected to the Super League next year. |
|
| Tie Breakers will be informed at the Technical Meeting. | |
| The following Cash Prizes will be offered with the Trophies and Medals: | |
| Champion - Rs. 50,000/= Runner Up - Rs. 30,000/= Third Place - Rs. 20,000/= |
|
| A Board Prize - Rs. 2,500/= | |
| Cash prizes will be shared. Tie breaks will be applied for the Trophies and Medals only. | |
An Entry fee of Rs.
10,000/= per team will be charged. ( 50% discount will be granted if all
local players in the pool are registered with the Chess Federation of
Sri Lanka at the time we receive the 10 member pool. We encourage the
players in this level to get the life membership.) |

| The tournament will be conducted according to the FIDE Rules adopted by the Chess Federation of Sri Lanka. | |
An appeals committee
will be selected among the participating Teams. Non playing captains are
allowed. But, they cannot be members of the Inter Club B or Women's teams
ho are playing in the finals 2019. |
