Award Ceremony of the Golden Square Members Chess Tournament - 2014

Award Ceremony of the Golden Square Members Chess Tournament of year 2014 was held recently at the Lions Centre Auditorium, Colombo 07 and Mr. Devaka Wijesinghe, Director of PENFIELD Group Ltd and Mrs. Wijesinghe both graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour respectively. There were 50 Medals and certificates were awarded at the event. Mr. Wijesinghe thanked Mrs. Suneetha Wijesuriya, Chairperson and the Chief Chess Instructress of the Golden Square International Chess Association and the team for the untiring efforts that they have taken to promote chess in Sri Lanka.
