is to inform you all that the Sri Lanka National B and Women's National
B Chess Championships 2014 will be held from 26th February to
2nd March 2014 at National Institute of Sports Science, Colombo 7. The
1st Game will be started on 26th at 9.00 am in this 10 round
Swiss System Tournaments. |

| Since
this is an Olympiad year, we hope that all the top players in Sri Lanka
will compete in this event. An entry fee of Rs. 1,000/- will be charged.
We will try our best to provide a tournament Bulletin for all participants
in electronic format. |

Schedule; |

Games in each day at 9.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. |
|
Any
player who is not registered with the Chess Federation of Sri Lanka for
the current year will not be included in Pairing. It is player’s
responsibility to forward us the Player Registration Number before at
the Registration. |

The
1st 12 players in Final ranking of National B will compete with reigning
National Champion, Isuru Alahakoon and the International Master, Romesh
Weerawardena in the National A this year which will be the final Qualifying
event for the Chess Olympiad 2014 to be held in August at Trompso, Norway. |

The
1st 12 players in Women's National B will compete with The WIM and reigning
National Women's Chess Champion, Sachini Ranasinghe and WIM Nelunika Methmani
in the Women's National Chess Championships 2014 to be held in March 2014. |
