Central Province Youth Chess Championship – 2008

Central Province Chess Association cordially invites you to participate in the above event which will be held on 12^th, 13^th & 14^th of December 2008 at Coorporative Training School, Polgolla, Katugastota.

Categories: Under 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 & 18 - boys and girls (12 separate sections). All players should be under their respective age group as at 1^st of January 2008(All participants are required to produce their birth certificate when necessary).

This tournament is open to all schools/clubs in the Central Province and Kurunegala, Kegalle, Ratnapura, Polonnaruwa and Badulla Districts.

Rounds: 8 (Eight). Rounds will commence at 8.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m.

Entries: Entries should reach the undersigned on or before 9^th December, 2008 together with an entry fee of Rs.200/-. They can also be handed over to the CPCA office, at Vision International School, 901/1, Peradeniya Road, Kandy which will be kept open on 23^rd & 30^th of November and 7^th of December for your convenience.

Participants should bring their own chess sets. They are also requested to bring their chess clocks, if available, and get a reduction of Rs.100/- from the entry fee.
