After the Nirosh' title, the Chess Federation
of Sri Lanka made a request for Chandima Wijewardena also for her performance
of 8 out of 11 at the Chess Olympiad 2002, Bled, Slovenia. The FIDE
had approved her WFM title about a week ago and published, but officially
informed the Chess Federation of Sri Lanka just now. Congratulations!

Actually, Chandima should be our 1st
Women FIDE Master of Sri Lanka since she made the performance in 2002,
but unfortunately she received the title after 10 years of her performance.
So, now we have 1 WIM, 4 FIDE Masters
and 6 WFMs. We may have to change the qualification process for Nationals.
